Nybygget

Demand for premises at Boden Business Park is steadily increasing. Already, many industries are represented here, from creative industries such as the gaming industry and film studio, to the IT industry and environmental technology. 2018 We now took the next step in the development towards a creative and vibrant environment for business and local people. We built a new house under the working name Nybygget.

The development of Boden Business Park continues and we can today boast a brand new building of 5400 square meters which was inaugurated on February 27, 2020. Together with our procured partner contractor Skanska, we took the step towards realizing our vision and ensuring that the needs that exist today and in the future meet.

With a view to the future, we focused on sustainability issues and prepared the building for certification: Environmental Building Silver. As a whole, we wanted to create a functional and pleasant environment for companies to work and grow on.

At the same time, we wanted to create an environment for local residents to take advantage of. In a modern environment with natural features, we will integrate our area in Sävast as a society. As an example, the courtyard became a multifunctional room for different types of meetings. Another restaurant was established in the new building.

In August 2019, the first tenants moved in and we were honored to welcome both existing and new students in the brand new house. During the autumn, Hermelin moved in and Sävast got a new gym. We continued at the same pace and around the turn of the year the house also had gaming studios as tenants at the same time as the light yard got its first event. February 27, we officially opened the building and the house was named VERKSTAN. In connection with this, the restaurant Torget opened and we took up another conference room.

Now the journey continues to fill the house and in the autumn we will welcome another education to the house - software testers.

Building a brand new house is difficult enough. Furthermore, that it should go fast makes it even more clever. Thanks to the partnering approach, it went the way and we learned a lot along the way. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this fantastic project in some way, big or small!
